Martinez Historical Society & Museum
The Martinez Historical Society is located in Martinez, California and is home to the Martinez Museum. It was established in 1973 to save the site of an 1890 cottage called the Borland House from being turned into a parking lot in downtown Martinez. Within the Borland House is where the Martinez Historical Society has preserved artifacts, documents, and photographs related to the City’s history.
